LAX - not a place to spend 7 hours

There is really not much that can be said about the disappointment that is LAX. Checkin and security were both painless but once we were through those scanners we realised the LAX is well a bit small.

The sign was exciting but after that...
It turns out that each of LAX's terminals is totally isolated from the others and deals with only 5-6 gates, this meant that for six hours we had four small shops, a couple of restaurants with not much veggie food and a Starbucks to occupy us. Compared with the small city that is London Heathrow this was dull!

We had a slight highlight when Amy Adams (actress of Enchanted fame) walked past us. A little later we found the USA rugby squad waiting for a different flight to New Zealand in preparation for the rugby world cup, the rugby lads probably thought we were weird as we kept walking past them trying to read their jackets.

We used a couple of hours walking around and stretching before we discovered a spot where we could sneak onto Air Frances VIP lounge (slow) Wifi.

We were eager to ditch our huge bags and didn't want to miss our flight but there are better ways to spend a day… watching paint dry is one!
