I heart SD

It didn't take us long to fall in love with San Diego- the beautiful beaches, the laid back vibe, lovely weather and the main form of travel is skateboard. Here are a few of the highlights….

San Diego Zoo: The worlds most progressive Zoo did not disappoint.

Cats and Dogs. In the Zoo they 'Buddy Up' some of the big cats with a canine companion when they first arrive, the animals grow up together and become best friends. Apparently this helps when they take the cats on talks, the theory goes that if the dog is calm, so too is the cat.

This is how I felt too after a full day at the zoo.

We spent our final day in the USA exploring the streets of San Diego. The city had a great vibe, with lots of independent shops, people on segways (always good for a laugh) and lots of pubs!

And they have good taste in music!

Even the car parks were pretty.

So after 3 days in San Diego it was sad to leave, but exciting to find out what tomorrow will hold.
